Your furniture naturally expands and contracts slightly with ordinary changes in relative humidity and temperature. This normal process has been taken into consideration in the design of your furniture and it does not affect quality, sturdiness, or useful life. The key is to avoid extreme humidity and temperature changes.
Your furniture is made from naturally dent-resistant wood and finished with a durable topcoat that is resistant to liquids. While quite durable, it is not, however, immune to damage. Follow these practices to keep it looking beautiful.
The finish on your Standout Designs furniture is of high quality; proper care and maintenance will improve the longevity of your furniture. For cleaning, you will need the following:
Mix the cleaning solution by combining 1 tablespoon of the mild dish soap with 6‐1/4 cups of cold water. It is important to not use soaps with strong chemicals such as ammonia, degreasers, silicone, and bleach as these products will harm the finish of your furniture.
Dampen a soft cloth with the cleaning solution and rub the wooden surface in the direction of the grain. Next, take another soft cloth, dampened with plain cold water, to remove any soap or residue from the furniture. Finally, use a dry cloth to completely dry the furniture; working in the direction of the grain (It is important to dry the surface completely in order to protect the wood from warping).
Free Threshold Delivery is included with your console purchase. It is performed by one person with a dolly or hand truck. You may need to help steady larger items (like the Haven EX 82w) on the dolly or hand truck.
White Glove Delivery cost varies with shipment weight. Starting at $150 for up to 240 pounds. Each additional 20 pounds (or portion thereof) is an additional $15.
White Glove Delivery is performed by one or two people depending on the size of the pieces ordered and whether or not flights of stairs are involved.
