Because we offer so many different woods, finishes, and layouts, we do not keep a lot of inventory. The following indicators are provided to help you plan your purchase.
1. Sometimes Stocked. You can sometimes find this particular console (this particular style and wood/finish) ready to ship because it is pretty popular and we regularly make it. Because it is popular, it might also be out of stock at times, but with shorter wait times because we build it pretty frequently.
2. Not Often Stocked. You might occasionally find this console in stock. In the case of Cherry consoles, you might see shorter wait times for a period of time because until we lock in the stain toward the end of the building process, it can be made into any of our Cherry stain offerings.
3. Made Just for You. This designation applies to Walnut and a few models where the alternate configuration (e.g. all drawers) is not in huge demand but we are prepared to build it when required.

Side enclosures offer plenty of width and depth for your AV components. Take advantage of our semi-custom program to add 2 more inches of depth. Four vented adjustable shelves are included. Audio-video enthusiasts know that the best way to manage wires and A/V gear is from the rear and that rear-ported center channel speakers need room to breathe. Easily remove and reinstall Standout back panels with nothing more than your hands. Mr. Miyagi would approve! (Get it?)
Like to go behind your media cabinet to manage gear and wiring? These 2" diameter fixed wheels concealed inside the Haven foot and under the console's belly allow you to roll your furniture it forward and backward with relative ease, even on low-pile carpet. Also safe for wood and tile floors.
Wires and cables should be connected, not seen. Run your wires and cables between sections and out the bottom using the numerous grommeted wire chase holes in your media furniture. 2" diameter openings mean large power plugs pass through too.
Like everything else about our media furniture, our storage drawers are top notch. English dovetail, to be exact. And smooth and sturdy Accuride drawer slides. Store a mix of media by placing dividers however you want. Or remove the dividers entirely and store whatever you want.
Most customers choose gray tinted door glass but you can opt for clear if you prefer. Both work fine with infra-red (IR) remote controls. The gray glass is used in skyscrapers! All glass is tempered. See Related Items below for more options.

Everything was either too big, too small, too ornate, poorly made, or lacked poor basic function. We appreciate quality furniture and wanted something to fit in with our Craftsman style home. Our biggest decision was what color…based on a small sample. Alan sent us some extra samples to help in our decision. He was been very helpful and available throughout the process, answering my emails shortly after I sent them. The delivery process was very simple. The freight company called shortly after it was shipped to set up a time for delivery. They were very prompt. The delivery person told us he was not authorized to wait while we unpacked and checked for damage. However, as there was a slight mark on the side of the packaging, he offered to let us check for damage. Everything was in good order. We couldn’t be happier with our console…and the company! We highly recommend them.

If you live in an apartment building, a freight elevator is required to deliver above the ground floor.

White Glove Delivery is performed by one or two people depending on the size of the pieces ordered and whether or not flights of stairs are involved. Available to most of the continental USA. If not offered in Checkout, it is not available to your address.
Your furniture will be brought to the room of your choice, unpacked, and positioned. Dunnage will also be removed upon request.
Additional charges will apply to carry the furniture up/down more than two flights of internal stairs. Please contact us for more information.
Per our return policy, you must retain the packaging, including the shipping pallet, in order to return a furniture piece.
The delivery team does not install shelves, door glass, or accessories nor do they handle electronics.
White Glove Delivery is available to most USA customers. Canadian customers can contact us for a White Glove Delivery quote. Not available to all areas.
White Glove Delivery adds 1-3 business days to transit time.
Furniture deliveries are made Monday – Friday during normal business hours, excluding major holidays.
Deliveries are made by appointment with the freight carrier. Appointment windows are typically between 2-4 hours.
Appointment days and times are set by the carrier and vary by location.
You must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.
We are pleased to offer Standout Designs furniture to our neighbors to the north.
GST/PST is additional and is not collected by Standout Designs.
You must engage a broker to speed your furniture through customs.
We can recommend Pacific Customs Brokers ("PCB"). The fee for Standout customers is CA$110 plus a nominal credit card processing fee.

If all furniture items on your order are in stock, we typically ship your order the next business day (possibly the same day if early enough in the morning).
