We do not build specific delivery charges into our prices and then advertise "Free Shipping" all the time. Instead, you choose the delivery service that suits your needs best, whether thats the lowest cost, the higest service level, or an option in between. See below for details.
Geographic Scope
We ship Standout furniture to virtually any address in the continental USA and Canada. Canadian customers are responsible for GST/PST taxes and typically a broker's fee to clear customs.
Time to Ship
Furniture items in stock when ordered typically ship within a business day or two, Monday through Thursday and occassionally Friday. Accessories available to ship with furniture items ship freight with the furniture. Accessories ordered or shipped separate from furniture items typically ship in 2-3 business days via UPS Ground. Back-ordered accessories items that are not factory-installed into furniture ship separately via UPS Ground for no additional charge once they become available.
Transit Time
Transit time (the number of business days from the time your order leaves our Pennsylvania warehouse until it is available for you to receive) varies by destination and service.
Con-way Freight handles our Standard, Super-Saver, and Service Center Pickup options. The map below shows Con-way Freight transit times. Customers in half of the US get their orders in 2 business days or less. Some California customers receive theirs in just 3 business days!
White Glove Delivery (US only) adds several business days. The further the delivery address is from the nearest HomeDirect USA delivery affiliate, the longer it may take. Contact us to learn the estimated timeframe to your address.
Some metropolitan areas (e.g. Midtown Manhattan) require a day beyond what is shown because Con-way must engage a local company to make the actual delivery.
Furniture Delivery
Delivery Overview
Standout furniture is delivered by LTL Truck due its size and weight. You will receive an email with tracking and contact information when your furniture ships. Delivery is by appointment, typically within a 2-3 hour window. The carrier will contact you to schedule once it receives the shipment. With all but White Glove delivery, you can use the contact information we provide to call and schedule ahead of time.
Scheduling Around Your Needs
Except for White Glove delivery, the carrier expects you to take delivery (or pick up as the case may) be within 2 business days of your order's arrival. If you cannot, storage charges will apply. So please be sure to inform us of any blackout delivery dates by noting them in the COMMENTS box during checkout, emailing us or calling us at (877)325-9663 so we can coordinate delivery around your schedule.
Receipt and Inspection of Goods
However infrequent, transit damage can sometimes occur. Please inspect your furniture and note any damage on the delivery receipt prior to signing it. Absent any such notation, you are acknowledging receipt of the goods in good condition, making subsequent damage claims difficult to establish.
Also contact us at 877-325-9663 as soon as possible. If calling after our normal business hours, please leave a message. Very often a representative can return your call the same day. If you have a digital camera handy, take pictures of the furniture and/or the carton.
In every case, we will work with you to ensure your satisfaction as quickly as possible. We ask that you work with us to resolve damage claims quickly and efficiently.

About Our Unlimited Shipping Rates
The rates below are per freight shipment for the continental USA and Canada. There is no additional charge to deliver additional furniture pieces to the same address at the same time.
Some remote places (e.g. Martha's Vineyard, British Columbia) might be subject to extra charges. If this applies to your order, we will contact you to discuss the additional cost.

Con-way Freight - Super Saver (Customer-Assisted) - $149 FREE!
This is the most economical way to have your new TV furniture delivered to your home. It is just as fast as Standard Delivery but you must help take the TV furniture off the truck. Delivery is by appointment.
INCLUDED: The driver will wheel your TV furniture into your home (first floor only) or into your garage if wheeling it through your home might cause damage.
NOT INCLUDED: The driver will not unpack the furniture nor take away packing materials other than the shipping pallet. The driver will not take your TV furniture up or down stairs inside your home (a few exterior stairs are OK). If you require these services, please choose White Glove Delivery.

This method offers the best balance of speed, cost and convenience. A liftgate makes is possible for the driver to lower your furniture off the truck without assistance. Delivery is by appointment.
INCLUDED: The driver will wheel your TV furniture into your home (first floor only) or into your garage if wheeling it through your home might cause damage.
NOT INCLUDED: The driver will not unpack the furniture nor take away packing materials other than the shipping pallet. The driver will not take your TV furniture up or down stairs inside your home (a few exterior stairs are OK). If you require these services, please choose White Glove Delivery.

HomeDirect USA White Glove Delivery (2-person with Stair Carry) - $289 $140
This method offers the highest level of service but takes a few more days (metro areas) or possibly weeks (very remote areas). Delivery is by appointment.
INCLUDED: Two delivery people will take your TV furniture to your room of choice (up or down two flights of stairs if required), unpack it, position it, and remove the packaging. Original packing is required to return your TV furniture, so please make sure everything is fine before letting the delivery people take away the packing materials!
NOT INCLUDED: The delivery people will not install shelves, door glass, or accessories nor will they handle your electronic equipment for you.

Overview
GST/PST are additional and not collected by Standout. Most customers use a broker to speed their furniture through customs. Many use Pacific Customs Brokers Ltd. The fee for Standout customers is CA$100 plus a nominal credit card fee. Contact Maria at 888-538-1566 for more information.
