Measuring Checklist
Once you decide that a Standout design fits your style and budget, you need to confirm that it fits your home and your electronics. Please review our advice below and measure before you order. Contact us if you need assistance.
Unless you are hanging a flat panel TV above your Standout console, make sure that your TV fits on top. The base should not overhang the front or back even if the set itself does.* |
Make sure that the components that you want inside your Standout console will fit inside. If the console features doors and backs, pay special attention to depth and include space for threading cables. |
- While most carousel CD/DVD players fit inside, mega-changers will have to go on top or elsewhere.
- Be sure to allow for proper air flow around your components (consult your electronics documentation for guidance).
If you plan to place your Standout console against a wall, make sure that it will fit the intended wall space with at least a few inches to spare for convenience sake.
Last but not least, make sure that your Standout console can safely pass through the doorways, hallways, and stairways necessary to get it to its destination. Friends fans, recall what happened to Ross' new couch.

Our research shows that all flat panels with table top stands and most recent rear-projection sets (DLP/SXRD/LCD) with screen sizes to 72" fit fine. To determine if your TV will fit on our console, see our TV Compatibility Guide. |
